The Rochas Mandate Group has reacted to a misleading and obviously planted fake news obtrusively promoted by agents of darkness and retrogression in Imo State especially, and the nation at large.
The fake news which tried to suggest that the incoming governor of Imo State, Ugwumba Uche Nwosu, has slowed down his governorship race, purportedly as a result of the controversies surrounding the botched congresses in Imo State, is exactly what it is, a fake news.
The Rochas Mandate Group wishes to inform the general public, that the stage at which the governorship project of the seasoned technocrat and chattered administrator, Ugwumba Uche Nwosu, is, it is impossible for anyone to stop it, except the Almighty God and the people of Imo State. Fortunately, these two forces are irreversibly committed to the realization of this project, as it is the best that will happen to Imo State.
It is important to reiterate that Ugwumba Uche Nwosu’s governorship ambition was ignited by God and the people of Imo State and not Owelle Rochas Okorocha or even Ugwumba Uche Nwosu himself. The Imo State Chief of Staff did not declare any intention to run for the governorship till stakeholders and Party leaders from about 24 LGAs of the State had come out openly to declare their endorsement for the real estate mogul, savvy investor, philanthropist and versatile entrepreneur. The governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha did not also wake up one day to say that he is supporting Ugwumba Uche Nwosu to succeed him as governor. If anything, he was compelled by majority of Imo people and real political stakholders to endorse Ugwumba Uche Nwosu.
The Rochas Mandate Group also wishes to clarify that there is nothing to fear about the attempted derailment of democratic processes by a group of impostors and anti-democratic goons. It is important to inform the general public that their attempted coup was siccessfully aborted due to the very intelligent tactics of the Imo State governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha.
Ugwumba Uche Nwosu is yet to set up a campaign council to prosecute his governorship race, therefore, it will be wrong for anyone to suggest any sort of slowing down by him. So far, the much loved governorship candidate of our great Party, the All Progressives Congress, has not spent a dime towards prosecuting his governorship ambition, but the over 50 independent support groups have been championing this project, because of their belief in the capacity of the seasoned technocrat to turn in the needed votes to win the election and as well move the State forward on the path of growth and prosperity.
Ugwumba Uche Nwosu is not your everyday politician who sleeps and wakes up thinking of how to win the next election, but a statesman and patriot whose whole passion is about service to the people. Ugwumba Uche Nwosu’s most important focus at this point in time is on how to do his beat as the Chief of Staff, in helping the Rescue Mission administration actualize its visions for the benefit of the people of Imo State.
The public are encouraged to be on the lookout for the formal inauguration of the Ugwumba Uche Nwosu Campaign Council and the subsequent presentation of the Imo Next Level blueprint, which shall happen in a matter of weeks from now.
