Condolences as Mysterious Deaths hit Senator Ararume

Independence Ogunewe and Ararume in law dead

This is actually not the best of times for a former Senator of the Federal Republic, Chief Ifeanyi Ararume as the grim reaper has paid visits to his immediate family and campaign organization.

Just as the respected Senator was trying to recover from the sudden deaths of his brother-in-law, his father-in-law followed suit, just as the tears from these unfortunate deaths are still drying up, Chief Ararume got bereaved the more, with the death of one of his closest political allies and the Director-general of his Campaign Organization. Hon. Independence Ogunewe, a frontline politician from Mbaise died mysteriously yesterday in his Abuja residence, according to media reports.

While the former Senator’s father-in-law, Elder Edmund Ebubedike Ohazurike is scheduled for burial today, his brother-in-law, the younger Ohazurike who was until his death based in London, the United Kingdom was buried yesterday in a less flamboyant funeral ceremony at the Ebubedike Ohazurike family compound in Amike, Orlu LGA of the State. Late Hon. Independence Ogunewe who represented Ahiazu/Ezinihitte Mbaise Federal Constituency on two occasions. He was reportedly found stone dead in his bathroom in the early hours of yesterday. Funeral arrangements are yet to be released by the family.

We at the Ugwumba Uche Nwosu political family join Imolites of good conscience to mourn the death of these departed sons of Imo State and we sincerely sympathize with the family and Campaign Organization of Senator Ifeanyi Ararume, the Agu Isiebu. We pray that God gives him, the members of his immediate family and all members of his Campaign Organization, the fortitude to bear these unfortunate losses. May the soul of the dead, find rest in God’s bosom, Amen.
