Group adopts Emeka Chinedu for Ezinihitte, Ahiazu Federal Constituency Seat

PDP distances itself from Imo LG election, says it’s unconstitutional

A group under the aegis of Youth for Accountability, Transparency and Good Governance in Nigeria (YATGGIN), have thrown their weight on the political aspirations of Hon Emeka Chinedu, Nwarufuo aku 1 of Oboma Ezinihitte Mbaise, who is contesting to represent Ahiazu and Ezinihitte at the House of Representatives under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Speaking to newsmen after an EXCO meeting recently in Owerri, the youths through their National President, Comrade Ibeh Chukwuemeka expressed their support to Hon Emeka Chinedu for his pioneering role and for renovating some schools and empowering many youths financially to start and own their own businesses.

Ibeh went further to extol the qualities of Hon Emeka Chinedu and pledged that their members in the wards of Ezinihitte and Ahiazu local government areas of Mbaise has been mobilized for him because of his magnanimity as a role model. According to Ibeh, YATGGIN has taken a critical look at his track records, antecedence and decided to identify with him as a way of encouraging him in 2019.

He said his group has taken the decision to support only credible candidates and has embarked on massive education of the electorates to ensure the masses are properly guided to vote the best candidates during the 2019 elections. “Never again will we support the wrong persons to get political offices for money sake, we are ready to give red card to selfish, irresponsible and over ambitious politicians who cannot offer anything to the society” he exclaimed.

Ibeh who they have mobilized over 2000 youths already, for Hon Emeka Chinedu across the wards and local government areas of Mbaise using their already inaugurated coordinators. He also warned people with questionable character not to venture or nurse the ambition of contesting because according to him, the group will drag such persons to court if there is any attempt. He said YATGGIN has followed up the Nigerian political development and has been able to get a data base of people that are with questionable character and those that has not, he revealed.
